Floki passed away today at 305pm in the ICU. We spared nothing in pursuing care for him and he is leaving a 192lb hole in our hearts. Many thanks to OVC for their expertise & compassion towards our big guy. Dogs just don’t live long enough, right?

Greatest Dane update: Arrived at OVC last night. The travel was extremely hard on him and even high flow 02 couldn’t keep his levels up, maxed out because of his size. The decision was made to intubate as a Hail Mary to see if we can get his lungs to catch up. It’s bad 😩
