The #JCR2024 is out! Great news for @econgeog: we have an #impact factor of 7.2, ranking 4th in #geography and 17th out of 597 journals in #economics. Many thanks to our authors, reviewers, and, of course, my fellow co-editors for making this happen!

Removed myself as an Frontiers Editor today. Frontiers seems to be adopting a MDPI style system, gaming IF whilst pushing fast, not thorough, peer-review & inevitably shifting to less qualified reviewers. Frontiers is no longer somewhere I would recommend publishing quality work.
