One major problem in Nigeria is how easily we default to blaming the President for everything. Primary healthcare fails - President. Out-of-school children rise - President. No pipe-borne water - President. Bad state roads - President. Lack of basic amenities - President. Communal clashes - President. As long as we keep shielding governors and local government chairmen from accountability, they’ll remain irresponsible and the cycle will continue.

The only reason the job has looked so difficult and visible changes have been so slow is because of the incompetence of these people here, let’s call a spade a spade. I’m not about apportioning blames because my leaders Bola Tinubu doesn’t believe in that, but if we keep pretending like we don’t know what has happened to this country since 1999 then it’s best i remind you Tinubu is the only person who has shown that he understands the real problems and the real solutions not paper over cracks, it’s very hypocritical of past leaders who worked with past administrations but have today rebranded to look like saints and now start talking to us about “governance” As for me, the day Tinubu showed willingness to radical decentralization is the day he won me over forever, if you like keep saying i was paid but i will not follow the crowd on the internet because there’s not a lot of you in real life anyways
