R4: One thing that I have not learned how to deal with in any of my formal education classes is student conflict. Bullying, for example, is a major issue among all grades, yet I have received no training of how to handle this situation. #kinderchat

R3: My cadet teaching class in high school was great because I was able to be in the classroom everyday. I got to do hands-on activities every day and got feedback from my supervising teachers that has helped me tremendously! #kinderchat

I think my communications for youth-serving professionals course has been really valuable because we have learned how to better communicate with students as well as parents. #kinderchat

A2: I was a nanny this past summer. It was a great experience working with the kids and forming those connections with them. I learned a lot about child development through watching them. #kinderchat

R1: As a freshman, I have only taken a few preservice classes so far. In one class, we learned about communication for teachers and we completed a mock parent teacher conference that was very good practice. #kinderchat
