🚨 Our stellar postdoc (w/ Stolper Lab) @GroppJonathan posted his first preprint! His work resolves a long-standing conundrum in the field of geobiology by showing how the biochemistry of methanogenesis impacts the isotope composition of biogenic methane!

Methanogens ❤️ MCR, but how much do they really need? 🤔 Our postdoc Gray Chadwick & grad student Gavin Dury titrated MCR expression to test the hypothesis that MCR catalyzes the growth rate-limiting step of methanogenesis in their new preprint! 🤓 Read: biorxiv.org/content/10.110…
