In almost every pretty Cathedral town in Europe, from Antwerp to Milan, the Cathedral is lit dramatically in the night and surrounded by a bustling economy of late night cafes, bars and restaurants. In the UK this doesn’t happen, because of the miserable Boomer.

I'm writing about the importance of life insurance in this weeks MSE email. Its painful to raise to parents the chance they'll die while their little ones are still little. Yet I'm steeling myself - the bitter taste of discussing this nightmare scenario is nothing compared to the bitter impact of not having discussed it, if it happens.

@lottyburns Hi Lotty, do you have a protection insurance policy? If so, many of them have access to virtual GP and prescription services 24/7 which might help so could be worth checking

@British_Airways - Iberia have not been able to offer a resolution to our issues, their only reply was to complain using their website which has a 7 business day response - just underlining their poor service.

@British_Airways 9 of us came to Lima via you & @Iberia - flight mgmt process awful! Iberia wouldn’t let us select outbnd seats for mnths; IT errors. Return check in taken 1hr+. Boarding passes still not rcvd. Terrible exp esp as in Bus Class. Iberia is a v poor partner to have!!
