@dgermain21 I agree, QoL analysis is critical in my opinion. irAEs are a unique set of toxicities; is ICI-induced hypothyroidism, which consigns many (often AYA pts) to require a new, lifelong, daily medication truly “non-serious” as would be concluded in a standard safety analysis?

I think we need randomized trial to change ES cHL management. The BV and nivo here don’t spare you anthracycline exposure. Adds $100k+ cost. Is QoL better with this approach than ABVD x2-3 + RT for favorable patients?

BV-N-AD in nonbulky early cHL #ASH24: - 154 pts, mFU 31 mos - CR 95% favorable, 91% unfav - 3-yr PFS 95%! 6 pts (4%) had POD, all unfav - 22% irAEs, mostly thyroid Close to getting rid of ABVD in early-stage cHL. #lymsm

As a T-cell lymphoma specialist, I can tell you this is exceedingly rare. In an email sent in response to this announcement to T-cell docs at ~ 20 of the largest centers, none of us have seen this. @lymphomaphilia @bpromd @jaehyukchoimd

Ugh - FDA statement already getting sensationalized in lay media. Here's what I know: 1) Many risk factors for second cancers in #MMsm #lymsm, with or without CAR-T. 2) CAR-T has saved thousands of lives - I will not be changing my practice based on FDA press release sans data.
