Spotty showers slide across KAKEland today. The rain should roll through North & South Central KS around mid-day. This 1st round will be on the light side... with more on the way tongiht. Highs back down in the low 70s for most of KAKEland. The southwest corner will be warmer.

Showers and storms will increase in coverage and intensity tonight. While some thunder is likely, the threat for severe weather is quite low. Heavy rain in spots tonight into Thursday morning, could result in some localized flooding. Most of the rain ends by afternoon. #KSwx
