For reference, I was in the waiting room when it opened at 08:45. My queue spot was 30,734. With a capacity of 75,000, that suggests at least 44,265 tickets were sold in presale. Someone I know was around 10k in line, meaning only ~20k tickets were left for general/loyalty sale.

@EPfestival based on queue position and some maths, you allocated @ThreeIreland 50k or more presale tickets? This is hardly fair? It’s also pretty shit when your loyalty customers get f all. Correct me if I’m wrong but I assume I’m right and will hear nothing.

@skytv People love Sky Q. Streaming is the future. Create a hybrid ‘stream’ box that accepts satellite/aerial and has built-in storage. It can record everything and provide TV when the internet is down. Also it can include live streaming channels on the guide with deep linking!

Creating a hybrid box would (a) show commitment to satellite customers (b) provide Recording and Streaming features (c) ensure customers with no/poor broadband still have TV (d) replace an aging product (e) offer a choice between Basic Streaming only and Premium Hybrid Streaming.
