💰The most important thing to understand about Bitcoin is that it's meant to be used as money. Bitcoin is more akin to gold and silver than a stock or an investment vehicle. The fact we can use it to transact with is what's groundbreaking; not its dollar-denominated value.

If Bitcoin is going to $10M it's worth stacking at $9M.

@felipecreate 2.1 million billion sats is the clean number, but the punchline is the same: there’s a hard cap.

@felipecreate @SteveSimple 2,099,999,997,690,000 sats. Not accounting for unclaimed block subsidy. I'm just being pedantic 😅.

@SteveSimple I did the math wrong. 2.1 quadrillion is 2.1 million billion, not 21 million billion... silly me😁

Do people believe in God because they found evidence, or because they were taught to believe as children?

@BRijswijk @HakunaMalelo @LukeDashjr @antiGOVTt @D_Preacher_1 If you think that saying "I don't currently believe God exists" is not claiming God doesn't exists, then you're right. To me, that's a statement saying "God doesn't exist". You clearly don't have proof no God exists, then why do you require it to prove God does exist?

You're pretty certain a God doesn't exist because of lack of compelling evidence. I was there too. Then I heard the stories of CS Lewis, Lee Strobel, Simon Greenleaf and Josh McDowell. All went out of their way to disprove the existence of God, and that Christianity is a fad. They all converted.

@felipecreate @HakunaMalelo @LukeDashjr @antiGOVTt @D_Preacher_1 My main reason for not believing gods exist is a lack of compelling evidence for the gods that have been proposed to me. I don’t claim that no gods exist, I currently just don’t believe they do. Could be wrong though.

If your main reason for rejecting God is 'we can't know' or 'there's no way to be sure who or what the first creator is,' then how can you be so dogmatic or certain that God doesn't exist? You're basing your disbelief on uncertainty or ignorance, yet you're acting like you know there's no God.

@felipecreate The timestamp of a bitcoin block header is 32 bits by consensus and must be in the future (greater than the median of the past 11 blocks). The time stamp of Feb 12th 2106 is 32bits of all ones. It is not possible to generate a consensus timestamp greater than that

@felipecreate Over my fifteen years in bitcoin I’ve heard people worry about what happens when the subsidy runs out (tail emissions, etc) hundreds of thousands of times. Yet with the 2106 bug it’s always crickets or kick the can down the road aspect. Suspicious choice of cans to kick

@felipecreate Odd how there’s a raging debate over what happens in 2144 and essentially zero discussion about how bitcoin died 38 years before that

"Probably". For someone who's after proof, you for sure are basing your beliefs on nothing but theory. Who created the gravity that pulls matter together? The evidence is existence, dude. The fact that you are here. The fact that we can have this conversation in the first place.
