...the film. It's struck me that I hadn't actually thought about that before. I'm so glad that at 8 she is questioning these things but sad that her first question was "can girls do this?" A lot of progress since the 60s but gosh so much further to go... Fab film though #apollo13

Just enjoying a bit of mum and daughter time and decided to watch Apollo 13 which she'd not seen before. She's just asked me if working in mission control/space is something girls can do, when I said "yes of course" she looked puzzled and pointed out that it was all men in...1/2
