I am going to say this full-throated thing- parents of children being treated for cancer are in a particular, singular hell. I have met many parents of children with many diseases. Ped cancer is exqusitely cruel for how it forces suffering as the only path to life. I am so sorry.

These three students received a Sam Day Memorial Scholarship because if how they choose to live through a chronic illness or physical disability. Apoorva is our first cancer survivor to receive the award. Excellence and resilience!
