@ellamaulding Not is now investigating...has been investigating. The investigation started BEFORE the resignation. That is pretty relevant context.

When a war is unjust, stepping down is the just response. Joe Kent resigned in protest against a war he says is not on behalf of the American people, and now the FBI is investigating him… ironically before they investigate a single person in the Epstein files.

Tucker likes to have friendly conversations with bad people. When he realizes that he’s talking to Iranian intelligence officials that we already collect on, he pretends to be a victim of “spying.” He’s an idiot, and he thinks you’re an idiot too. You always need a warrant to “wire tap” any American citizen. Full stop. But if you’re communicating with a criminal and that criminal’s phone is tapped (because a judge authorized it), then your conversation is now part of that investigation. If the police also want to tap *your* phone, they would need a warrant. FISA is no different. Tucker knows all this but his favorite grift is to play the victim. I’m surprised he hasn’t blamed the Jews yet. Give it time.

Universal healthcare with Medicare for All would: - cover everyone - save 68,000 lives per year - save up to $650B per year - save families money - create jobs - boost businesses If only the politicians claiming to evangelicals listened to the Pope instead of their lobbyists.

@Ilhan A staggering majority of Americans want this. You disenfranchise them when you don't represent them the way they want to be represented. You also disenfranchise them when you let billions in hard earned tax dollars become fraudulently allocated.

Here's a clear message for my Senate Republican colleagues: we will NOT support a bill that disenfranchises millions of American citizens. The SAVE Act is voter suppression. It's a NO.

Indeed. Here is his argument put in an anecdote. Imagine you were a child, and some lunatic came in and murdered your whole family. The social workers come and ask you where you want to live. Are you going to ask to stay with the murderer? Even the people accepting TPS aren't buying what he is selling.

@EmmanuelMacron This is why he posted this: INSEE (France's national statistics institute) data from a 2019–2020 survey (referenced in later analyses up to 2023) found that Muslims comprised 10% of the population aged 18–59.

It is time to open a path towards de-escalation in order to restore stability in the Middle East. France calls for the immediate implementation of a moratorium on strikes targeting civilian infrastructure, whether related to water or to energy. Freedom and security of navigation must be restored. As the region enters a period of religious celebrations and renewal, tempers must cool and hostilities must cease, in order to give a real chance to the prospect of a negotiated and sustainable solution.

@dbongino Legit question. Not rage bait, not pushing a narrative. How is his resignation any different from yours? On the surface, he seems to have disagreed with the direction the administration was going as it pertains to his department. Was that not the same as you?

Joe Kent conveniently under investigation now. @TuckerCarlson potentially under investigation. We've moved on from the propaganda portion of our programming to outright oppression. National media will pretend it's a total coincidence that opponents of the war are being targeted.

Well, that is a conveniently structured narrative. Too bad it is steeped in ignorance. We only celebrate truth. TPS has been extended to all varieties of people. Nepal, did we miss the major military action in Nepal? Montserrat, yes, I recall the great Montserrat bombing raids of 2002. Remember all the tomahawks we fired into Liberia? Remember when we dropped an A-Bomb on and Guinea-Bissau? The list goes on and on. Perhaps you could come with something more than the regurgitated talking points of an intellectually captured rube.

Have you asked yourself why they became refugees? I’ll tell you. They became refugees because US bombed their homes and destroyed their schools and made their home areas unliveable. I have a suggestion. Maybe don’t bomb them and then they won’t have reason to leave their homes. The lack of self awareness is jarring. When you’re celebrating the wanton and illegal destruction of other countries just know that those people will later come to your shores to ask for help

How is this always the shtick AFTER the money is spent? It signifies you did nothing. This could also read that you didn't present a bill for $200 billion to cover these items for Americans. Also, your math is shaky at best. At 100k for a 4 year degree, you could cover 2M people.

$200 billion would pay for free college for every American, $10 day childcare, 1000 new trade schools, the 40% federal share of special needs education and a lot more. What are we even doing here? MAGA is now Iran first?

You mean 10 that have been caught or prosecuted. Wouldn't be much of a scam if everyone was getting caught, but even in cases where it has been caught, it is rarely prosecuted. Either way, your argument is akin to saying that the number of murders and the number of jailed murders is the same. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Only 10 undocumented immigrants have successfully cast ballots over the last 25 years. There are more Trump allies in the Epstein files than there are undocumented immigrants voting. The SAVE America Act is a voter suppression bill that protects Trump and his Epstein allies.
Ted Cruz@tedcruz

Democrats are trying to stop the SAVE America Act because they want illegal aliens to vote for them. That’s bad for America. We need to pass the SAVE America Act.
