This is just blatantly wrong. Set pieces were ALWAYS broken. So are throw-ins. It's just that few teams bothered to train them more than 5-10 minutes A WEEK. 30% of the goals, 2% of the training time. 🤔 People don't complain when Messi frisbees DFKs into the side netting.

When a team can create >2xG in a single half of football from set pieces it’s hard to argue that set pieces aren’t breaking the game as we know it.

A lot of #FPL content creators sold or benched Semenyo this week. If he gets benched, it's over. It would be clear that those guys get leaks, which is ok for me. What I don't like is them lying about getting leaks & pretending they don't. Just stop deceiving people. #FPLCommunity

Liam Rosenior’s time at Chelsea was bad, there’s no denying that. Certain quotes didn’t help. But the way he has been ridiculed by certain people, including some of his former team-mates, is cruel. I hope he is ok and can rebuild himself because there’s a good manager in there.

@FPLD_Unit Have lots of data on this from PL + other leagues. If you look at results pre- and post-relegation + adjust for fixture difficulty - not much effect on goals scored, but teams tend to concede more once they're already down. Mostly liberation from defending it seems 😀

That means the data is wrong 40% of the time, and an instance like this is where that can be the case. More data uncovers it too, like last 6 avg, or 👀s

Individual fixtures are noisy - but across seasons and leagues, market projections reliably outperform a “last 6 games” average For #FPL, they're generally a much better starting point than recent form
