Jets RB Breece Hall talks about his college days with his roommate at the time, Brock Purdy: "For me it was just seeing how hard Brock worked in college and Brock was my roommate for two and a half years. Having conversations with him, he always told me he was never the most talented, never the fastest, never the biggest, never the strongest arm, so he always had to work overly hard to make a bridge to be as good as everyone else. And then just seeing how good of a person he was. Brock wasn’t a partier, he wasn’t going out drinking and doing none of that stuff. He was always football, football, football, which sometimes we tried to pull him out of that like 'Brother lets play a game or do something', but just seeing how he’s an all-American person, his faith in god, he never does anybody wrong, he always does the right thing. Just seeing how good of a person, how hard of a worker he was… In college he always had big play potential. His potential to do a lot of stuff. We had some very big wins and everything… I always knew he had it in him to be a great player, but what he’s doing now is a complete surprise. He always told me 'As long as I got the pieces around me, I’m gonna be successful'. Just hearing him say that and now he has the pieces he needed, he’s successful." via: @thepivot

5⃣ Runes etching and minting guide Instruction video by @RunesBridge x.com/runesbridge/st… Instruction thread by @punk3700 x.com/punk3700/statu… (6/7)
3700@punk3700

💻GUIDE: HOW TO ETCH & MINT RUNES 💻 Free this weekend? Follow this step-by-step guide to etching and minting runes by the @BVMnetwork team. This tutorial will get you ahead of the crowd on Runes, the hottest Bitcoin "upgrade" to be released in 7 days by the one and only Casey. 1) Run a Bitcoin node 2) Run an Ordinals node 3) Etch a Rune 4) Mint a Rune PS: Just a heads up, the next guide will be on selling your minted Runes on RuneChain.com. So finish this guide first if you want to make some money when Runes goes live 😎 LFG ✊ STEP 1: RUN A BITCOIN TESTNET NODE - Download Bitcoin Core: bitcoincore.org - Run it: ./bitcoind -testnet It may take some time for your Bitcoin full node to be fully synced. STEP 2: RUN AN ORDINALS NODE - Download the `ord` prebuilt binary: github.com/ordinals/ord/r… - Run the `ord` node with the following script: #!/bin/sh BITCOIN_CHAIN=testnet BITCOIN_RPC_URL=http:// BITCOIN_RPC_USERNAME= BITCOIN_RPC_PASSWORD= SERVER_PORT=6969 RUST_LOG=debug ./ord --index-runes --chain $BITCOIN_CHAIN --bitcoin-rpc-url $BITCOIN_RPC_URL --bitcoin-rpc-username $BITCOIN_RPC_USERNAME --bitcoin-rpc-password $BITCOIN_RPC_PASSWORD server --http-port $SERVER_PORT Note that the BITCOIN_X environment variables should be set to the Bitcoin full node information you have run in Step 1. STEP 3: ETCH A RUNE Runes come into existence by being etched. Etching creates a rune and sets its properties. Once set, these properties are immutable, even to its etcher. - Create a batch.yaml file that describes the rune's parameters, such as rune name, divisibility, premine, supply, symbol, etc. You can find a sample batch.yaml file at: github.com/ordinals/ord/b… - Run the following command to etch the Rune RUST_LOG=debug ./ord --index-runes --chain $BITCOIN_CHAIN --bitcoin-rpc-url $BITCOIN_RPC_URL --bitcoin-rpc-username $BITCOIN_RPC_USERNAME --bitcoin-rpc-password $BITCOIN_RPC_PASSWORD wallet --server-url http://127.0.0.1:6969 batch --fee-rate=1 --batch ./batch.yaml - For example, this is an etched Rune that was indexed and displayed on Ordinal Testnet Explorer: testnet.ordinals.com/rune/BVM%E2%80… STEP 4: MINT A RUNE While a rune's mint is open, anyone may create a mint transaction that creates a fixed amount of new units of that rune, subject to the mint's terms. - Run the following command. This will mint 100 BVM•TESTNET•RUNE•ONE token to your `ord` wallet. `100` is the amount per mint defined in the above batch.yaml. RUST_LOG=debug ./ord --index-runes --chain $BITCOIN_CHAIN --bitcoin-rpc-url $BITCOIN_RPC_URL --bitcoin-rpc-username $BITCOIN_RPC_USERNAME --bitcoin-rpc-password $BITCOIN_RPC_PASSWORD wallet --server-url http://127.0.0.1:6969 mint --fee-rate=1 --rune BVM•TESTNET•RUNE•ONE - The newly minted tokens can be found in the Ordinals testnet explorer: testnet.ordinals.com/runes/balances 🏆🏆🏆 Congratulations! You’ve etched and minted some runes. You’re now among a very few people in the world who know how to do this new kind of magic internet money. Let us know if you have any questions. And have a fun weekend hacking away on Bitcoin!

I have a feeling that BTCFi will surprise many. I took a position in $CORE Things they are promising to deliver: - Native $BTC staking - Payment network - using coreBTC for fast transactions - Bitcoin/EVM tokens native swaps - Various DEXs and farms where you can provide liquidity Here is the paper for more technical details unlockingbitcoindefi.com
Denali Marsh@denalimarsh

$CORE is just warming up. BTCFi is a trillion dollar opportunity and Core is in the center of it.

The future of DEX is 3-4 major protocols conducting the divide and conquer approach to liquidity/chains; aggregating and routing across each other from all major wallets. The future of CEX is to wrap and run nodes from this “meta protocol”. That’s why TC works with @Chainflip , @Maya_Protocol and soon @SeraiDEX It will be impossible to ignore and shut down.

After Bitcoin made a new high and all the Solana ponzis made new millionaires, the market is in a state of cool-off before we see another leg up. To make it in this next leg up you need to work 10000x harder than you’ve been. What I meant by working hard isn’t aimlessly scrolling X and engaging in meaningless activity. But putting in the work. If this is your first bull run and you’re confused about what to do. I’ll share a few tips 👇🏾👇🏾 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 First, it all starts from you. Have Google Docs, spreadsheet, and Twitter list you follow to help you stay organized. Schedule your daily routine and make sure you follow it. Staying organized helps you achieve a lot of things. 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐲 𝐥𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 Liquidity is king in web3. Right now we’ve tools that you can use to know where liquidity is flowing to and what is getting the most liquid. You want to invest in whatever asset that is getting good liquidity inflow and not hold dead bags. Memecoins, ordinals, ETH NFTs, Gamble-Fi, Altcoins, OG arts, Angel investment, etc. 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐲 𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 Last bull run Gary Vee was digging up NFTs that minted years before punks & bayc was cool. That gave birth to a mini run on all older projects. Identify a trend/narrative, then capitalize on it. The best way to front-run CT is to be early to the next narrative. In between metas, there are always mini run-on areas with less attention ( Bsc memecoins, Base shitcoin, Blast Game-Fi, ETH NFTs) people aren’t paying much attention to. You want to be early to the next thing before it pops up on the TL. 𝐀𝐝𝐚𝐩𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐛𝐢𝐚𝐬 Web3 moves at a speed of 1000x more than light, you’ve to be ready to adapt to any situation or change in momentum in the market. The faster you adapt to anything, the better you become as a trader. 𝐍𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 You probably must have heard the phrase “Your network is your net worth”. The best 100x you’ll make from crypto are the friends. Build connections, go for irl events, join spaces, reach out to someone via DMs, or anything at all that connects you to those in your niche. You’ll get 1% better every day if you do these. 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐜𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐥 The last run what helped my journey was having a small tight circle of friends who were very hungry for success. You’re better off grinding with those who have a desire to increase their worth, value, network, knowledge, etc. than grinding with those who are very comfortable with what they’ve right now. Find your people and build with them. 𝐃𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 Before an alpha gets to the timeline it has passed through several channels of communication. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐥 ➜ 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝 ➜ 𝐀𝐥𝐩𝐡𝐚 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩𝐬 ➜ 𝐓𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 Crypto is PvP, your exit is someone’s entry. While your entry is someone’s 30x. You don’t want to be the exit liquidity. Always do your research and conclude why people are bullish/bearish on certain projects. 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 Hacks & scams are rampant in a bull market. Always double-check links, accounts, claims, etc before you approve transactions. It doesn’t make sense to spend countless nights grinding up just to lose it to some scams within the blink of an eye. Verify don’t trust. Valar Morghulis. See you at the top 🔝🫶🏾

I'm just gonna say it. I doubted @solana, I didn't buy any. I was wrong. The Market has decided... @THORChain needs to integrate $SOL into itself, maybe even get a head start into $AVAX or other VC backed chains. The simple reality is TC is cut out of that ecosystem.

@AutismCapital It will only be the time where people will say “Burn The $Jews” and media will think it’s entire anti semitic movement on Solana. When it’s a bunch of degens wanting the value to prop up.

The real interesting thing of note here with the Solana memecoin drama is that it really wasn’t until the Jewish themed racist coins that there suddenly became a problem. There was no call to action to censor the black, Indian, Chinese, or any other racist coin. Teachable moment.

The hard fundamental projects may not look sexy but have long term viability as it basically establishes the plumbing or the foundation. WHat good is a beautiful hose of DEFI if it doesn't have the right plumbing?

And that also means other visa/mastercard network connecting other chains matter. @Maya_Protocol when it can connect arbitrum wIll me solve my biggest pet peeve with bridges. I have USDC on SOL that I wAnt to use to buy an NFT on Arbitrum. Making the experience seamless is key.

Been holding @THORChain since 2020 even through the ups and down because somone said (wonder if it was @CBarraford ) it'd be the equivalent of the visa/mastercard network - the plumbing for cross and multichain liquidity. That's why I remain supportive of these projects.
