I’m Thankful, Grateful, and Honored There’s so much I could say—but for now, I’ll say this: I’m thankful to the Lord, my Savior, for His guidance and protection throughout the past 33 years of serving my country and my community…..(1 of 4)

Arrests coming. This weekend an anti-ICE mob targeted a church, emboldened by the reckless rhetoric from Minnesota's sanctuary politicians and the media. The First Amendment protects speech and peaceful assembly – not rioting. This administration is committed to upholding federal law and defending the rights of all Americans. These agitators will be held accountable.

Catholic HODL ✝️🇺🇸🇻🇦⚡️
My dear brother in Christ, You raise a common and sincere objection—one that many Protestants voice with deep concern for honoring Christ alone—and I appreciate the opportunity to respond as a faithful Catholic who holds Scripture in the highest regard. First, let us affirm what is most essential: **Jesus Christ is indeed the one mediator between God and man** (1 Tim. 2:5), the sole redeemer who reconciles us to the Father through His perfect sacrifice on the cross. No Catholic teaching denies or diminishes this. The Catechism explicitly states that Christ is “the one mediator between God and men” (CCC 618), and all grace flows exclusively through Him. When Catholics ask the saints (including the Blessed Virgin Mary) to pray for us, we are **not** placing them as rival mediators or bypassing Christ. Rather, we ask fellow members of Christ’s Body—the Church triumphant in heaven—to intercede for us, just as we ask living Christians on earth to pray for us. This is subordinate, participatory intercession, not a replacement for Christ’s unique mediation. Consider St. Paul’s words in the same chapter: “I urge that supplications, prayers, **intercessions**, and thanksgivings be made for everyone” (1 Tim. 2:1). Paul calls Christians to intercede for others, yet this does not contradict Christ’s sole mediatorship—it participates in it. Similarly, the saints in heaven, perfected in charity and united more closely to Christ, continue to pray for the Church on earth (CCC 956). Their prayers are powerful because “the prayer of a righteous person has great power in its effects” (James 5:16), and the saints are perfectly righteous in heaven. Scripture shows that those in heaven are aware of earthly events and present our prayers to God: - In Revelation 5:8, the elders in heaven hold “golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.” - In Revelation 8:3–4, an angel offers the prayers of the saints before God’s throne. The saints are not dead but alive in Christ (cf. Mark 12:27; Luke 20:38), part of the “great cloud of witnesses” surrounding us (Heb. 12:1). Death does not sever the communion of the Body of Christ; it unites the Church on earth, in purgatory, and in heaven in one family (CCC 962). As for how the saints can “hear” countless prayers: this is not by their own natural power (which would require omniscience, belonging to God alone), but by God’s gift. Just as God revealed hidden thoughts and distant events to prophets (e.g., Daniel knowing Nebuchadnezzar’s dream in Dan. 2), He can share our prayer intentions with the saints in the beatific vision. St. Thomas Aquinas explains that the saints know our prayers insofar as God reveals them, for the good of the Church and out of His love. Finally, the saints in heaven are no longer subject to death; they reign with Christ (Rev. 20:4; 2 Tim. 2:12). Asking their intercession does not detract from going “directly to the throne” but enriches our approach, surrounded by the prayers of the entire family of God. We always pray **through Christ our Lord**, and any request to the saints affirms that truth. May we all grow closer to Him, the one Mediator who draws us into perfect communion. In Christ, A fellow servant of Our Lord

The School District of Palm Beach County
Lighthouse Elementary School students and staff came together in a heartwarming ceremony to honor the brave men and women who have served our nation. The 2025 Veterans Day event was a truly beautiful and moving day, full of song and celebration, that recognized the sacrifices of our veterans. It was an incredible opportunity for our school community to express its deep gratitude and teach the next generation the importance of service and sacrifice.

Our deepest sympathy to @MissionBBQ co-founder Bill Kraus and the entire family. His 39-year-old son Andrew was one of the four U.S. Army soldiers killed in a helicopter crash during a training mission in Washington State on Wednesday. I have met Bill and I appreciate this family so much—their love for this country and our military is so evident. Every day at noon in all of their restaurants, the kitchen stops, the cash register stops, and all the customers stand at attention with the staff to sing the National Anthem. Will you join with me in praying for this family and the loved ones of the three other service members killed in this tragic accident? cvillerightnow.com/news/208802-mi…
