@WaymooMoody Because he’s the best defender. He was a 1:1. Paul, and Bubba, and Mitch all want to throw to him. All of that, and if he doesn’t hit Endy or Flores could snatch it away.

I heard a lot of people saying that Endy would be the #2 catcher behind Davis and that Bart would be traded. I don't see that happening, especially now. Endy needs ABs. He hasn't played for what...two years now? And the team will likely need at LEAST four catchers.

I couldn't tell you the last time they made it through a year with less than four. Someone was saying yesterday, don't remember if it was @NorthShoreNine or @garymo2007 with Locked on Pirates as I listen to both daily, that Bart is the stabilizing presence among the catchers.
