Good afternoon, Dr @WilliamsRuto. I have looked at these painful images of this 80 year-old widow being harassed inside her matrimonial property in Upper Hill Nairobi, and I have no words left to say to your Gov't and the painful things it is doing to the weak and vulnerable in society right now. Mr President, are you not the same person who rode on the back of suffering Kenyans who had previously felt marginalized from the centre of decision-making, and who, out of euphoria for a change in the manner in which the weak and vulnerable Kenyans were previously treated, voted to have you stand in the gap for them at their most hour of need? If you did not mean those things you used to say on top of sunroofs lashing out at the excesses of state sponsored tyranny, you should've made it known early instead of gaining office by false pretense and abandoning these people when private developers, colluding with rogue state officers, come breaking into their premises to claim ownership of property that the government itself have confirmed has no dispute on their name. It's barely two years since you took the oath to make Kenya an equal society where those without godfathers in government could feel safe and secure while sleeping at night, but you have done the exact opposite and this needs to change. There is no justification for your Govt's continued harassment of genuine title holders, who have done nothing wrong other than standing up for the right of ownership and being forced to pay for it by acts of unnecessary vigilance because they know not the day nor the hour when rogue people would come knocking to dispossess them out of their poor state of physical vulnerability. Daktari, if the weak and vulnerable, who have no one to turn to in the face of riotous danger, cannot rely on you to protect their right to peaceful live in homes they genuinely acquired through the sweat of their brow, to whom is left for them to run for protection, cover, and defense from homelessness they did nothing wrong to deserve? What else should genuine title holders do to guarantee them of foolproof land ownership, now and in the future? It would be important that you tell us because this case is not an isolated case since this UDA administration begun their tour of office, and you can bet your favourite Bible verse that it won't be the last. Mr President, are you not concerned by these increasing reports of rogue elements within your administration colluding with faceless private developers to reign terror on those you promised to protect and defend from the cruelty of the government? What, then, is the difference between you and those other Bible-quoting leaders who pretend to be close to God during the day and turn the other way when his people are being terrorized without recourse in the cover of darkness? Doesn't the same Bible that you profess to have read, from front to back, instruct you, as a matter of spiritual persuasion, to care for the fatherless and protect widows who have nowhere to turn to after the loss of their family breadwinner? Do you ever think that the same God these people are crying to will not one day decide to teach you a lesson on how not to speak from two sides of your mouth? Known affectionately as "Ogre" within rugby circles, he was a shining light of the sport. Ogre not only secured the Kenya Cup with Kenya Harlequin as both a player and coach but also served as the club's Chairman during the 2012-13 season. His contributions extended beyond domestic accolades; he was an integral part of the Kenya Simbas coaching staff that led the Kenya Simbas to multiple Elgon Cup triumphs and the 2011 Africa Cup title under the guidance of Michael "Tank" Otieno. On the rugby field, Ogre was a towering presence and a relentless competitor, yet off the field, he exuded a gentle and larger-than-life personality that left an indelible mark on those he encountered. His absence leaves a void that words cannot adequately fill. Our deepest sympathies go out to his family, and we offer our heartfelt prayers for strength during this challenging period. UPDATE: Thanks to our MCA, county officials and @kilimanispeaks all work was halted and the poles will be removed. A resolution on the way forward and how residents will maintain the playground is being discussed. I repeat this is not the property of one resident.

@H_kudi @kilimanispeaks I live in a similar property n during covid, complaints were at a peak...so we as residents came up with a curfew...start n stop time n the kids still respect that to this day.. those that feel so strongly should move, but best to come to an agreement..everyone started as a child
