I think I see his problem. It's a mismatch of expectations. He's still looking at women as if he is his pre-looksmaxxed self. So he keeps approaching wholesome, natural long-haired brunettes with a "girl next door" look. But those girls want wholesome guys. He has to go find his female equivalent, a pilates-and-matcha influencer with lash extensions and lip filler.

@PeterB585337060 @EdLatimore Back when I trained TKD there was this kid that knew how to do this, on cue, with a sidekick. I stopped going there because Id spend half the class half dying on the floor, and the instructor would only laugh and tell me to "walk it off".

I’m not a boxer and my experience with punching is essentially just the usual American boy stuff with minimal additional training. The only time I ever ended up ending a fight with one punch was a lucky hit to the center of mass that somehow made the other kid’s diaphragm stop working. I imagine one of the many things you train is not letting that happen?

Don't want to sound like I'm not answering the question, but it's a *little* complex than just which is better at taking your opponent out *in a sanctioned bout*. They're both effective with pros and cons that ultimately balance out in a fight. Assuming a person is just standing there and not fighting back, a headshot. Like if you were gonna sneak sucker punch someone, hit the head so they go out. This is, assuming, you can punch. But in a real scenario, it's all the same. A body shot has a much higher connect rate though and the pain is truly debilitating. A head shot *might* disrupt your nervous system (the Bambi legs) or knock you out...but it might not and it's a lot easier to dodge a headshot and counter back than a body shot.

In a different story, by a different author, the hero went to Waffle House and bought a Belgian waffle - making it clear he had never in fact visited a Waffle House. In the Walking Dead, they go from Florida to South Carolina and can't find a single firearm in any house. "Huh" I thought. "The screenwriters are from Los Angeles." What examples can you give of a writer unintentionally giving away his lack of knowledge?
