Gerard married the lovely Kathleen Keenan from the Short Strand, they were blessed with 5 daughters. His two brothers John and Thomas were shot dead by UVF gunmen in 1975. Gerard was endless in his support of other bereaved families. We buried him today, a gentleman now at peace.

Attending the North West Regional Development Group meeting today in the ATU in Letterkenny. Continuing to work on progress for investment in business, tourism and climate change across the North West City Region. All Ireland, joined up development makes sense for us all.

Israel is the only country in the world which ‘tries’ children in military courts. Over 170 Palestinian children or minors are being held in Israeli prisons. Every child being held captive should be released during this ceasefire #CeasefireForGazaNOW
