Teachers give so much during the week: teaching, planning, marking, caring, guiding. Weekends aren’t a luxury, they’re essential. Rested educators = refreshed classrooms, more energy, more patience, more creativity. This weekend: teachers, switch off. You’ve earned it. 💛

@cph_milano In all fairness to Lily, my daughter has naturally red hair and no amount of brushing controls the frizz, especially when it’s hot and humid. And, at the age of four (she’s 20 now) I wasn’t going to put products in her hair either. Even when I tied it back it still frizzed.

@DeputyGrocott Eurostar is great way to travel. We went to Paris and took the overnight train down to Nice. Lovely waking up in the South of France and very easy to pop on a train to Italy.

Back from the South of France! I can highly recommend! We went ‘green’ by going by Eurostar across to Lille then a 4 and a half hour train down to Marseille. Quick taxi West and full on 28 degree heat for a week! Good price for our family of 6 too! Cheaper than UK!

Have you ever experienced a piece of art that impacted you so much, you felt a duty to share it with people you love? My dad is not a sci-fi fan. I begged him for years to get around to Interstellar. But I did it because I wanted him to feel what I felt when I experienced this film & this moment. This is why Cinema and art matter- sharing these experiences are the ties that bind us all.

My wife and I had three kids in two and a half years, and it has been the greatest thing we’ll ever do, and I’m blessed, and I love it everyday, but I have some advice for parents of young kids: Don’t buy anything, I mean not a single thing, that is nice until the youngest is at least five years old.
