considering to start an AI lab in the UK focused on fine-tuning adapters for other researchers and companies.
Think of it as the specialized tailors of the LLM world….we make your models fit your domain perfectly without the billion-pound training bill.
Who’s interested in funding this? Half serious, fully committed

The hottest job in AI right now isn't AI Engineer.
It's FDE.
(Forward Deployed Engineer)
a16z just launched an 8-week fellowship for the people deploying AI into real enterprises.
They're looking for builders who:
• Deploy AI systems into production
• Work directly with customers
• Build agentic workflows
• Think in systems, not features
• Combine technical depth with product intuition
You'll join leaders from:
@OpenAI, @cursor_ai , @databricks , @ElevenLabs , @harvey , @Google , @Snowflake , @Ramp, Rippling etc.
The biggest AI breakthroughs won't happen in research papers.
They'll happen inside companies figuring out how to make AI actually work.
Apply by June 26.

@sourishsharma17 @SiddharthK524 @paulg i did no practice i just did it and got good; got scholarship to uni

i disagree (i like disagreeing with you).
all exams i've done (including STEP) are very contained and 'closed'. almost by nature of being an assessable exam, it's hackable and broken.
because as soon as a few people care enough to obsess over winning it, you have to as well.
the benefit of STEP definitely existed in the first ~50 hours of practice, but disappeared afterwards. and most people do 100s of hours, so that's a lot of wasted hours.
UKCT challenges do a pretty good job. the speed, quantity of tricks, and variation make it much better for this. not perfect, but FAR better than anything else i've seen.

i was promised a spare motor with one day delivery, it's now going to take 4 days
the UK is ngmi, how does anyone stomach doing robotics anywhere outside of shenzhen?
iteration time and progress is just so slow
