I'm Somali. If I wore traditional Japanese clothes at my wedding, all of the guests would be confused. I'm equally confused when I see young Somali men wear Saudi clothing at their wedding. It's weird.

I Today attended church service at Jesus Teaching Ministry, where I got to be ministered to by Apostle Peter Manyuru Ministries @PeterManyuru whose sermon was titled Star protocol breakers.

The Law Society of Kenya risks being just a glossy club where ambitious lawyers collect initials for CVs, promising the moon during campaigns, yet abandoning grassroots advocates once elected. Encroachment laws, directly affecting advocates’ practice, sail through Parliament drafted by the State Law Office, while “public interest” litigants from Omtata to Nakuru enjoy courts’ indulgence. History reminds us robust legal bodies like the English Bar Council or US ABA fiercely defend members’ interests.
