@Victummz on another level its funny because the job of the lead dev is often not to make 3d models, they are meant to have high level leadership and coordinate. no one expected him to be doing this back at blizzard the fact that he is so shit at that he has to 3d model himself is funny

Stella Sora apologized publicly for a tiny animation that Korean players found offensive. You guessed it. A very small moment where a new character has their index finger too close to their thumb. 🤏 The same motion NIKKE had to apologize for and censor a few weeks back, and the same gesture Wuthering Waves had to completely cancel a partnership with over I believe it was Zani a few months back. I get the cultural relevance the action might have in SOME instances, but can we stop acting like this is some kinda conspiracy theory and start treating it for what it is? Just absurd. Human beings, video game characters, anime characters, WE REST OUR FINGERS IN THAT POSITION ALL THE TIME. IT'S NOT A PERSONAL ATTACK AND HAS NO HIDDEN AGENDA. When you try hard enough to find something, you'll likely find instances of it in everything. They're just reaching at this point, and the developers should NOT have had to apologize, nor should they have had to begin "internally discussing the matter with the development team," which is Chinese, by the way, not Korean. My god. There is genuinely no way this is real life. It's so dystopian that I almost don't want to believe it's actually happening, but it is. This time, I stand by Stella Sora and do NOT think they should have issued an apology. They should have completely ignored whoever was complaining, and let the Chinese studio keep pushing out the characters they wanted, without censorship or revisions.

I think it's interesting that the response from Republicans isn't that this is an obvious lie, but that you're simply not allowed to criticize someone who's husband was murdered. I think they know what she's doing is in bad taste, but they love it. They love the idea of being able to parade this woman around so she can blame Democrats for her loss and if Dems refute they get to wag their finger in moral superiority. "How dare you criticize a widow." If you are going to turn your husband's death into a political rallying tour, you absolutely open yourself up to criticism and to think otherwise is ridiculous.

Uncle Walt’s Little Known Facts
Funniest thing I ever saw at Disney. On a busy night, a little girl a couple tables away was having a birthday. The servers gathered around her table and sang “happy birthday.” One of the servers had a big slice of birthday cake and while they were singing sat it down in front of her. When the girl blew the candle on the cake out, another server picked up the cake and began to eat it. The look of horror on the little girl’s face was hysterical; another server put another slice of cake in front of her about five seconds later. For those of you who prefer a quieter experience, the restaurant introduced a system where a coaster placed red-side-up means “don’t bother me” and green-side-up means “bring it on.” The menu for breakfast is available until 2:00 pm, so if you’re a late riser and want to pack on carbs for an afternoon at the park, you’re good.

1/ A repatriated Korean worker from the Hyundai-LG battery factory secretly wrote a detention diary about their 7-day experience in ICE custody in Georgia. The worker says ICE officers mocked them with words like as "North Korea" and "Rocket Man" despite holding a business visa.

BREAKING: The 300+ Korean workers who were detained in last week's ICE raid at the Hyundai-LG battery plant construction site in Georgia have arrived in South Korea, walking out here in the arrivals hall at Incheon International Airport.

1/ Something that's not being reported much re: ICE crackdown at Hyundai-LG Georgia battery factory: Korean companies investing billions cannot get proper visas, are then criminalised for bringing skilled workers to fill gaps American labour cannot. Sentiment is one of betrayal.
Raphael Rashid@koryodynasty

ICE has released a video of its raid on Hyundai–LG's Georgia battery plant site, showing Korean workers chained up and led away. South Korea's foreign ministry has confirmed over 300 of the 457 taken into custody are Korean nationals.

@staticbluebat @ExileGrimm Yeah the electeds and the elites were happy to risk project 2025 and mass exterminations across the US if it also protected their faves. Those faves are essential to fund sinecures and NGO foundations.
