@AndrewHGiuliani @grok Does Article 6 of the World Cup regulations allow the host nation to ban a team from competition, or is this the authority of FIFA? In case Iran withdraws or is banned, and another Asian Football Confederation team is selected, what country would likely be selected?

Citibikes remain idle on a beautiful Sunday afternoon in NYC. It’s 66 degrees outside. What’s today’s excuse?

The tragic terrorist attack in Austin last night is a clear example of why we must stop immigration from radical Islamic countries. The number one priority of our government must be keeping our people safe. That means we can no longer repeat the same failed mass-immigration policies of the past – all in the name of 'diversity' and inclusivity – while radical Islamist extremists enter our country to do us harm. I pray for all the victims of this horrific incident and their families. May God bless them and bring them comfort.

We have to stop runaway spending in Washington. That will be one of my top priorities in Congress, and it was a key message I shared at the Bexar County Republican Party candidate forum this week. Thanks to the organizers and everyone in TX-21 who came out!

The doomsayers told us all the ways congestion pricing would fail. Exactly one year into the program, it's clear every single one of their predictions was wrong. What they told us would happen: • Stores and restaurants would lose foot traffic and would close • The return-to-office trend would be slowed • Broadway attendance would drop • Congestion in the zone wound remain just as bad • Traffic outside the zone would dramatically increase • Commuters wouldn’t shift to mass transit * Air quality would not improve • Revenue generated for MTA would be less than projected Here’s what has actually happened in year 1: • Restaurant bookings: +5% • Foot traffic: +3.4% • Retail vacancy: -0.9% • Broadway attendance: +19% • In-person office attendance: +10% • Congestion in zone: -11% • Traffic on bridges and tunnel outside of zone: no significant change * Small particulate matter in the air: -22% • Subway ridership: +7% on weekdays (even more on weekends) • Revenue produced for MTA: $548M (vs. $500M projected)

You see a lot claims that Venezuela has nothing to do with drugs because most of the fentanyl comes from elsewhere. I want to address this: First off, fentanyl isn't the only drug in the world and there is still fentanyl coming from Venezuela (or at least there was). Second, cocaine, which is the main drug trafficked out of Venezuela, is a profit center for all of the Latin America cartels. If you cut out the money from cocaine (or even reduce it) you substantially weaken the cartels overall. Also, cocaine is bad too! Third, yes, a lot of fentanyl is coming out of Mexico. That continues to be a focus of our policy in Mexico and is a reason why President Trump shut the border on day one. Fourth, I see a lot of criticism about oil. About 20 years ago, Venezuela expropriated American oil property and until recently used that stolen property to get rich and fund their narcoterrorist activities. I understand the anxiety over the use of military force, but are we just supposed to allow a communist to steal our stuff in our hemisphere and do nothing? Great powers don't act like that. The United States, thanks to President Trump's leadership, is a great power again. Everyone should take note.

@emilyjashinsky We all agree that it's un-American to torture anyone, right? Or send people (including 200+ Venezuelan migrants in the US who've never been convicted of a crime) to a place where we know torture is commonplace? Just confirming.

Dems are being disingenuous. The disproportionate attention to this case is nauseating after the media’s delayed coverage of the border crisis under Biden. And I agree with the veep that the left will take issue with most “mass” deportation efforts. But take the Salvadoran “dictator’s” prison out of the equation here and you instantly have a better argument. Same is true of the Venezuelans without convictions. We’re paying El Salvador to do this. Find another deportation solution, and it will be morally and politically better. If the plan is to boot millions of people, you’ll need a place to deport many, many non-criminal asylum seekers from places like Venezuela whose claims don’t hold up anyway, because they made them under Biden’s lenient regime.

🚨 HUGE ENDORSEMENT ALERT 🚨 I’m truly honored and humbled to earn the support of Governor @GregAbbott_TX. His leadership is making Texas the strongest conservative state in the nation. Proud to stand with him to secure the border, stop illegal immigration, support Operation Lone Star, defend religious freedom, and expand school choice. Together, we’ll keep fighting to advance President Trump’s America First agenda and keep Texas strong.
Governor Hot Wheels@GovHotWheels_TX

TODAY: Governor @GregAbbott_TX endorses @teixeiramark25 for Texas’ 21st Congressional District. Mark “Tex” Teixeira has proven his commitment to Texas values, fighting for conservative principles and supporting Republican leaders.
