What a rollercoaster it is to build in web3. I’m not sure what it’s like for other founders, but for me it’s been a journey of highs and (plenty of) lows. Today was yet another low. The Kiwi team has decided to conduct a relaunch. People hate relaunches. Generally, they’re executed poorly and the teams always skew the tokenomics in their favour, screwing over the investors that believed in their project. Yes, they want to paint a nice new chart and they feel it is the only way to get people interested in their token again — but, it rarely works. So, investors are naturally frustrated by the surprise news of a relaunch because they know the outcome is rarely good for them. It’s frustrating from PROOF’s point of view, because we incubated and launched the Kiwi team, we are somehow responsible for these actions. Of course, people know deep down that we’re not directly to blame, but they need to direct their grievances somewhere. But, I want to remind you all that we don’t condone relaunches nor the mistreatment of investors. We are frustrated by the decisions that have been made, without consultation with us. Now, I must also say that I believe the Kiwi team have the best intentions and they want this to go well and for it to be a good outcome. I can acknowledge that, but still be frustrated at the situation and the way it’s being handled. We are going to make changes to how long the team tokens are required to be locked up for. This will avoid any surprise relaunches happening in the future. We are also learning from each launch to improve our processes and stop relaunches from ever needing to be an option. We’ve been around launching tokens since Feb, 2022. And, I’m excited at the thought of where we could be in a few years from now. We will not give up. I’m committed to bringing you good quality launches that perform well on the chart. We won’t stop learning and evolving to become the best in-class at what we do.

Too Fair to Win, Too Honest to Farm - The Catch 22 ---------------- I’ve worked and witnessed @Proofplatform launches for years - seen the evolution first-hand. We launched $BUILD with just 5% marketing supply - no gimmicks - and hit a $14m MCap... Simpler times. > Then the bundles began. 80-95% bundles became the norm. Proof didn’t follow. Ethically right? Arguably. But it meant launches barely scraped $300k MCap and wore the “bearish” tag for a LONG while. Great projects like $CREA were overlooked - until real long-term investors like @The_Bear_Moon stepped in and raised awareness. > Damned if you adapt. Damned if you don’t. Today’s structure? 40% bundle + optional 15% snipe. Far from “max extraction.” Blaming stakers or pass holders is naïve. They built an organic community over a very long period of time - and shared value more than most microcaps ever would. Again, far from max extraction. Sure, the $KIWI marketing wasn’t handled well. But what about $BERRY? Another fruit… from a known serial launcher apparently. Where do you draw the line of ethics here? > Incubators launch. They don’t babysit beyond the initial launch phase. Let’s direct the outrage where it belongs and not blame the easy scapegoat, $PROOF have always tried their best to only bring quality projects to the table with integrity imo. $KOLT $PAPPLE $BYB $DCAY $QS $CHEB $HMKR

Most market participants, paticularly OGs want some normality back in the market, where builders are rewarded and scammers are not, or less so at least. $PROOF has the potential to be a great step towards that, where launches are vetted heavily before being able to launch & we are seeing the difference in quality in the charts. There will always be a place for gamblers & memes, but there needs to be a better place for real projects with good intentions to launch on too and I believe @PROOFplatform could be the place, and we're seeing signs of it already. With $ETH szn kicking off this could be the go to launchpad, they've got a bit more attention recently with $KIWI hitting $16m and $HYPR hitting $8.5m during questionable conditions but I feel like it's going to take a $100m+ runner for it to really catch on. The token is a vital part of the ecosystem and lets you own a massive 50% share of the revenue earned from the daily trading volume of tokens launched on the PROOF Platform - it's big now but imagine how big it could be if the platform gets even 1% of the Pump Fun attention/volume. If you are a person looking to launch a serious project, I'd reccomend talking to @JP_PROOF @ @PROOFplatform - it isn't perfect but you'll have a much better chance of success than launching on pumpfun/uniswap amongst the millions of monthly scams. I believe years of building & proving themself is about to pay off massively, probably see a 5x+ in token price as a result of that too.
