People wonder why older folks hate Congress. This is why. He says Nicobar project must be stopped. Nicobar sits at the mouth of a strait that is choke point of all the ships coming and going to China. Iran has been able to hold the world hostage by choking a strait. India can literally choke China with minimal effort if Nicobar is developed. Hence Nicobar must not be developed Second - Singapore has built an economy around transshipment port. Nicobar could be a potential transshipment port for all the ships that cross the strait. Hence it must be stopped.

This is the murder of democracy in broad daylight.
CCTV footage has exposed how @BJP4India, in active collusion with the @ECISVEEP, is opening ballot boxes without the presence of any relevant party stakeholders. This is gross electoral fraud being committed openly with the full knowledge and protection of the Election Commission.
They have tried every dirty trick, name deletion, voter intimidation, Central Force terror, cash flooding, and failed miserably. Now, in sheer desperation, they have stooped to tampering with EVMs. But Bengal is not Maharashtra, Delhi, or Bihar. We will not sit silently and watch them loot our democracy.
Our leaders Smt. @DrShashiPanja and Shri @KunalGhoshAgain have already begun a dharna outside Netaji Indoor Stadium. Smt. @MamataOfficial will personally visit the spot and take stock of the situation. The people of Bengal are watching this daylight robbery.
We will not allow the Delhi Zamindars and their puppet Election Commission to steal the mandate of the people.

At a time when India is staring at a severe water crisis, with reports warning that major cities could run out of groundwater by 2030, we are aggressively pushing ethanol production that consumes massive water and generates toxic wastewater.
India produces 1800 crore litres of ethanol. Do the math, the water footprint is staggering.
And who benefits? The same political ecosystem. Nitin Gadkari keeps pushing ethanol, while his own family has major stakes in the industry. Conflict of interest much?
This isn’t policy. This is profit disguised as policy.
If leaders are more focused on enriching their own families than protecting resources like water, how does India ever become a truly great nation?
