Real example, from 2 days ago. I have been a member of @GrowthX_Club since 2023 now. I mostly have been a lurker, reading conversations, requests in slack channels for community members. And there is a channel ai-ai-ai, where people ask for suggestions, what tools work, are there any good resources to learn to build tools etc. So, I just went ahead and posted in the group that if anyone needs to learn how to build ai tools / agents, from scratch feel free to comment on my thread, and we can schedule a few online sessions, hoping maybe 6-7 people will be interested. ( after building a lot of confidence working with llm APIs, RAG etc etc, building 20+ tools and applications from scratch, took me almost 3 years to learn what I know today, I have taught fellow developers a few things @waahbete @nikamanish , a few things one one though ) And the response on that thread was overwhelming, 60+ folks ( from founders of AI companies, bootstrap builders, product managers, ++ ) reached out that they also want to be part of the session. This snowballed into a full fledged event, @udayan_w posted that, I should go ahead and create a @GrowthX_Club Event, for folks who are interested to learn ( only in 48 hours since a made one post in one niche community, without any expectations, just to help people, because I am confident that i can ) Now I am hosting my first ever learning session, that too as a Growthx event on 2nd Nov, 2025! growthx.club/events/ai-lear… From a simple comment in a channel, purely because I wanted to help folks with no strings attached, into my first ever online learning session!
