@techdroider "Shot on iPhone." The iPhone cost $1,200. The lens attached to it cost $265,000. Technically accurate.

Apple's “Shot on iPhone” MLS broadcast setup was way crazier than the official video made it look.
7 iPhone 17 Pro Max units were using their own native camera lenses, while some of the remaining 8 iPhones were paired with external lenses, including massive Fujinon HZK25-1000mm broadcast lens attachments worth around $265,000.
Not saying it wasn't shot on iPhone, because it clearly was. But the official video also didn't properly clarify how much professional broadcast glass and external optics were involved in achieving some of those stadium-level shots.

Apple used "15" iPhone 17 Pro Max units to broadcast a Soccer match LIVE on Apple TV… WOW 15 iPhones placed across an 84,000-square-foot pitch capturing cinematic angles, closeups and tracking shots in real time. This is beyond smartphone cameras now!!!

@aravarora_ iOS 26 had the lowest adoption rate in Apple history and people still say it looks good. That's the power of glass.

@StarkPrivacy A backdoor that only good guys can use has never existed and security experts say it can't. That's the bill's core technical problem, not a political one.

David Peterson@davidgpeterson
Regarding Canada's Bill C-22: @ProtonVPN is Swiss. Complying with foreign surveillance orders without Swiss legal process is a criminal offence. Not happening. We'll defend our Canadian users and never compromise them. We will fight C-22's application by every means available.

I recently discovered a life-changing Mac app “Amphetamine” which keeps your Mac awake even when lid is closed
Much more reliable & easier to use than the caffeinate command in the terminal
Now I can finally close my laptop with peace of mind

@privatetalky Apple made a $49 dock that matched your phone perfectly and then decided you didn't deserve either.
