Auto-scaling is just a way to turn a performance problem into a cost problem without fixing either one.

Add loading skeleton on your frontend will not make your server fast. You're just fooling your users. But it's good ux practice.😂😂

Someone is trying so hard to hack my server. But why? I'm seeing this today. I don't know when this was happening. I got some work for the weekend.

I’ve added Umami analytics to my website StanleyMasinde.com after years of staying away from analytics because providers like Google analytics do not value privacy. The current umami doesn’t follow users around and it’s self-hostable. I can get insights about my website without selling out my visitors to big tech. I’ll later self host it. Especially since I want to start doing this for clients.

Microservices should talk to each other only via queues. If a microservice failure leads to your system failure, you’re doing it wrong. If you don’t have the skills to design such a system, make a monolith. And if you can’t design a scalable monolith, read a fucking book.

Just use agent skills instead of mcp. I have done the research for you so you don't have to

The funny thing about the whole "AI Coding" thing is people saying the code is built on a bad foundation. Have you guys ever inherited a codebase written by humans and just sighed? Humans wrote equally terrible code if not worse. Bad code has been here before AI.

Agent skills vs MCP: MCP (Model Context Protocol) standardizes access to external tools and data while Agent Skills standardize procedural knowledge and workflows. Pro tip 👉 review community skills and prefer verified publishers to protect yourself from security risks.

Giving out this Monitor to a Kenyan STUDENT or INTERN who can quickly share something great they built. They should be in Tech and preferably a Tech Bro 😎. This is the HP E243 monitor. This is an affordable monitor and therefore no extreme criteria will be used.

@kennedy_odh @wamweaaa Monorepo comes in handy when you have multiple apps which have shared UI, types, ... but also need to be deployed as independent application.

@wamweaaa Unless there's a requirement for independent deployments, different domains, separate teams, or different release cycles, splitting them into separate apps feels like extra complexity for little gain.
