Interviewed a backend developer.
Guy was at 21 LPA. We offered 28 LPA, roughly a 33 percent hike. He agreed and confirmed joining.
Yesterday he emailed saying he got a 32 LPA offer elsewhere and now wants 36 LPA from us.
Nonsense. Why agree in the first place.
If you are still shopping offers just say it upfront. We stopped interviewing other candidates and waited through the notice period for the joining date.
Now two days before joining, he came back with a new price tag.

just met a guy last month who casually told me he has a baby that’s only a few months old and asked me out (ick). Moments like that reminded me how differently parenthood is for women. He’s outside flirting and living life like nothing changed. Meanwhile the mother of his child is at home with his kid not even thinking about dating because her whole life has shifted. This is why nobody can ever shame me for choosing to be childfree.. these men don’t want a family unit & yall keep falling for it 😭

- Air fried Chicken - 65gm - 200rs
- 2 eggs - 12gm - 20rs
- Whey protein - 24gm - 100rs
- meals - 10gm - free
111gms = 320rs
Cost reduced from 550 to 320

Just for 30 days. You will live for 27000 days. Just 30 days no junk. Take religious oath or take kasam of someone. Whatever helps. But only 30 days.
Then on 31st day, eat some junk. Your stomach will tell you almost instantly that why it was a bad idea to add junk to the diet and you will subconsciously start avoiding junk easily.

After having no control over my sugar intake for over 10 yrs, I finally decided to cut "added sugar" intake. Just after 2 months of quitting, I went to Amritsar. Couldn't resist my temptation to have Lassi. What I once craved for months became something I couldn't drink. Not only did I find it weird, but I couldn't even finish drinking half the glass. Sugar, I realised, once you quit, there's no going back. There's no better way of quitting something once you start despising it! Health experts here – is there any way of despising junk food as well? I've been told that having 4 litres of water a day helps. Your craving does go away but you don't start despising it.
