The Retail Trader Mind Trap 😵💫
1) I'm bullish on stock A but waiting for a dip 🐂
2) Price is down but now I'm afraid it will keep falling! Not buying 🙅♂️
3) No! Price is surging 🚀 I missed it!
4) Why am I like this? Markets suck😢
Bookmark this, remind yourself next time.
If you're truly bullish, dip are discounts. Period.

@ProfitsTaken Caught the early move on Nvidia this morning and then jumped into some spy calls just as the Algo stream alerted us. Pays to be an insider.

We need to send a message to @SenateGOP.
If you think @RobertKennedyJr should be UNANIMOUSLY confirmed, please leave a "👍" in the comments. They are tagged and will see it.
No GOP Senator should defy Trump. RFK Jr. will fight for our children's future.

Making $200 as a trader feels like a small amount of money
but making $100 working a job feels like alot
this is because we correlate time to money
when you go to work there's a specific amount of time you are getting paid for
In trading you don’t get paid for time
You get paid for decisions
trading more does not equal more money
you could trade for 1 hour and make 10x the money you made at your job
that's why you dont value seeing numbers go up on a screen
It’s “easy” money
but you need to understand…
It may be easy but it’s the hardest easy money you’ll ever make.

The deceptive strategy of "window dressing"
Examples (stocks / markets tie in later in post):
- Buying fake followers or likes to make an account seem authoritative so as to attract more followers.
- Giving away free food to make a restaurant look popular.
- Media does this by coordinating to repeating the same idea until feels organically true even if 100% fabricated.
One of the oldest but most effective tactics in the book.
➡️The next level of gaslighting like this is diversifying the attack so as to ensure you hit a wide variety of people.
Negative Examples:
"How egg consumption could be hurting you" (the soft approach)
"No, eggs aren't good for you and this is why" (the assertive approach)
"The link between chickens and climate change" (to the climate conscious aka the guilt approach)
"If you care about others, stop eating eggs" (non climate conscious guilting)
"Experts link egg consumption to depression and toxic behavior" (The this will make you unhappy and a bad person approach)
Now take eggs and apply anything. Or take the INVERSE if you want to promote someone or something to be what they aren't.
Positive Gaslighting Examples:
"Yes, ABC is great at XYZ and this is why"
"Surveys show that toxic people don't like ABC"
"Person or thing ABC is better for climate change and you should like them"
"How not liking ABC is linked to socio-racial inequality"
If you've read this post. Congratulations, you've now learned propaganda 101.
Stock Markets & Building Wealth
An enormous part of being adept in the markets is sifting through the baloney (curse word omitted). The same goes in business transactions of all sorts.
Looking through my feed or being an Insider, you know I'm right where many are wrong. I often chide the "experts" on television for poor analysis or repeating what other say. Almost as though one person throws an idea out and they gaslight one another then repeat the same talking point (see my post on how no emergency cut was ever coming despite what the "experts" were saying)
It starts with not being swayed by 101 pieces of non sense.
Beyond stocks, it helps in every facet of life. We're in the age of gaslighting. Stay data driven and logical. Lying is nothing to the media. Their duty is to drive a narrative. That's how they generate revenue. By appeasing stakeholders and sponsors. Not by helping you.
If you have a theory, research and test. Your biggest wins will often come where others believed otherwise. That's how proper dips are bought, that's how great investments are made throughout the business world #stocks

@ProfitsTaken It pays to be an insider. Just sold my August 30 210 calls for over 165% while my September 30 215s are up 40%. This is only one in a long list of successful trades as an insider. Thank you to PT and his cohorts.

"Job creation" over the last years were lies?
I've published articles & evidence that the numbers have been horribly inaccurate at best.
Tomorrow, BLS is set to revise last year's numbers down by 600k to 1MM.
That's not a margin of error imo. It's a dishonest political campaign. If you enjoy being lied to... #stockmarket #stocks
I was the first to publish data on the non farm job inconsistencies then followed up with state data and QCEW data.
