@IIICapital So optimistic about the future. The fact that months ago we were at $124K and now we’re at 66, idk why more aren’t buying the MF dip. Nothing has changed. The thesis hasn’t changed. We’re so early

in 9 years of being in Bitcoin, I have never been more optimistic about its future than I am now

@thebitking The idea of a bank like Wells Fargo holding my BTC gives me the chills. In a bad way. I don’t trust anybody with my keys but myself! Hopefully a lot of people self custody!

Great question, so yes there is a tax liability when paying with BTC, for me I know exactly what my bills are every single month so I keep a certain amount in my cash reserve. If it draws from my btc it would trigger tax event. But I don’t mess with that so I make sure it comes from my cash value on the app. Great thing about River is that my Cash value earns 3.3% in BTC. Way better than my credit union. Dm if you want to know more.

@PhillyPhillyBTC Great insight. How long have you been using bill pay through river and what was the tax implication like? That’s the only concern I have with using bill pay?

Living off of Bitcoin is very easy. River is great, set up direct deposit so your job pays and it goes straight to Bitcoin, you can also set up Bill pay through River and pay bills from your cash holdings or Bitcoin in platform. Then you can use Fold for the credit card up to you. Personally my credit card is better perks so I use that and then pay off the balance through River.

@BTC_broo I first started buying a year ago around 70. I was so upset I had never bought in the 60s. I’m always so blessed and humbled to see these values. I turned on a DCA hourly and I’m just stacking endlessly while I can!

I started seriously buying bitcoin every day in 2021. I am incredibly grateful that I get a second chance to stack at these levels.

The CLARITY Act markup hits in ~2 weeks. If it passes, it’s the first federal framework for digital assets in US history. Institutional capital has been sitting on the sidelines waiting for exactly this. Bitcoin at $66K before regulatory clarity. Think about that.
