Her parents offered to keep her son for the night so they could go out. Apparently, it was too much for them. I'm sure they're not the only ones returning babies in the middle of the night. They look exhausted. 🤣🤣

@RusselHerpes @ronsterd89 I didn’t make my son pay rent. I did make him put money into a savings every payday to get him into the habit of paying bills. It was his money. I didn’t keep it; I just didn’t let him spend it until he moved out.

@anonimo_jones Pushing chairs in, closing cupboards, putting down the toilet lid and straightening the pillows on the couch are not ocd. Those are normal things everyone should do. The other things are preferences and still not being obsessive.

@TheLaurenChen My parents didn’t babysit my kids. They spent time quality time with them. They didn’t want to be the ones raising them. That was my job. As my grandparents also didn’t raise me. My daughters are raising their own children and certainly don’t expect me to.

Boomers don't want to hear this, but one of the (many) reasons why my generation isn't having as many kids? A lot of millennials feel they can't depend on their parents for help the way they saw their own grandparents pitch in when they were growing up

This is EXACTLY why people are DONE with Facebook Marketplace… 📦 She literally listed two egg chairs for FREE. Not discounted. Not negotiable. FREE. Clear picture. Clear description. One chair had a cushion, one didn’t. That’s it. And somehow… it STILL turned into chaos. Message after message, people asking questions already answered, trying to negotiate a price on something that costs $0, acting confused over the most basic details. It went from “I’m giving this away” to pure frustration real fast. That’s when she snapped, FULL rant mode. And honestly? A lot of people are saying she just said what everyone’s been thinking. Because, how does “free” still turn into this much drama?? At some point it’s not even about the item anymore… it’s about dealing with people. Be real, has Facebook Marketplace become more stress than it’s worth? And what’s the most ridiculous message you’ve ever gotten trying to sell (or give away) something?

@jonbrooks Have them early. My kids are all grown and have kids of their own. my husband had 2 kids with his ex in his 40’s and they’re still living at our house with no end in sight. I’m 60 and ready for empty nest.

@Jedger007 @BTCBreadMan I Venmo my husband an agreed amount each month for the household bills (he pays them) I buy groceries. We pay for our own bills, car, phone etc…sometimes he treats for date night, sometimes I do. We split cost of trips. We will never have a joint account.
