@mancunianmedic @dystopiatoo @NickBuckleyMBE I have so much respect for our International nurses they leave family and friends at home to come to the NHS and they get abused by the racist public regularly sadly now!! They are hard working committed staff and my teams would be the poorer without them!!!

Also lots of british trained nurses are from ethnic minority/immigrant ancestry and i bet the ignorant racist flag shaggers are mis-labelling them as foreign

Let them leave. We can recruit better qualified home grown nurses that at least speak perfect English. We must stop abusing the third world by stealing their poorly trained staff.

@dystopiatoo @mancunianmedic @NickBuckleyMBE Absolutely right the international nurses have to be able to pass English Language tests before even considered = A Level English written & Spoken. They are the welcomed into the NHS by those of us that work in it as we would not function without them!!!

Nurses leaving in first 5 years has increased by 67%.
Each year 1 in 10 nurses leave.
International nurses are required to pass competence and language tests.
If an extra 50k leave the NHS it will be catastrophic.

Graph of admissions for RSV is definitely showing a different trend - and this looks to hold for < 5s and >75s

Tuesday night we held our 1st YP listening event for @MSEHospitals in partnership with @Essex_CC Youth Workers its was a great evening and gave much food for thought….. we will continue to listen and makes changes and safe to say the future brighter in this generation hands!!
