@nbarealist23 @TheDunkCentral The only reason LeBron left is because the Cavs FO made stupid moves such as letting Carlos Boozer walk after LeBron’s rookie season. The moves they made while he was gone also reinforced how bad of an FO they were.

LeBron had a more immediate impact for sure. He reached prime/near prime by a year 2. Only Kareem was arguably more NBA ready at such a young age. But Kobe stayed with the franchise his entire career. There was little threat of him leaving every 4-7 years. If I'm drafting, I'm choosing the guy who will stay.
