@drsas27@Jopo_dr I taught my son’s reception class how to dial 999 on an iPhone on the “bring your mum to school” day. Spent all night worrying that they’d all be trying it out

Hi everyone, hope you’re all keeping safe and well! I’m going to do a Q&A tonight at 7pm on my twitter page. Just send your questions in using #AskVirgil and I’ll try and answer as many as I can 😁
@RCSnews Please could you clarify what “full protective PPE for all staff in theatre” means. Is this aerosol generating PPE ie the ffp3 mask? Or the standard non AGP PPE i.e. surgical mask?
We have issued a joint statement from all four of the Royal Colleges and other leading bodies with guidance on procedures during the #COVID19 outbreak. These guidelines are designed to protect our members, fellows, and patients: rcsed.ac.uk/news-public-af…
We are supporting our staff through these unprecedented times and from Monday we are:
🚗 Suspending staff car parking charges
🍽️ Suspending staff charges in all of our canteens across the trust
We'd like to thank our staff for their ongoing hard work. We couldn't be more proud
As #COVID19 intensifies, so does the need to make sure you take the time to look after your #wellbeing.
We've been working with @DrJulie_H to bring you resources & advice on how to sustain wellbeing during COVID-19 and beyond💙

It is a sad reflection of our tax system that @hmtreasury received much more tax from Annual Allowance (c£233m in 16/17) - mostly from public sector doctors than from @amazon (£4.6m in UK corporation tax)
If your patient has had a retinal detachment operation do not use nitrous oxide in your anaesthetic (or for labour analgesia). The gas bubble in the eye gets bigger and causes blindness.
(who uses nitrous anyway...it's bad for the environment and unnecessary) #TraineeConf19
