Ron Paul says legalize Bitcoin as money and let it compete with the dollar… That’s great and all, but it will compete with the dollar either way; Either the US embraces Bitcoin, and by default it will eventually become the money simply because it is better than the dollar in every measurable way Or… The US could ban Bitcoin. Then, other countries will adopt it instead and the dollar would be screwed eventually anyway I just don’t see a path, over a long enough timeline, that Bitcoin doesn’t become the money
