DID YOU KNOW Joni Ernst is trying to slip an act into the Senate Farm Bill that would negate EVERY SINGLE STATE LAW for food safety, local ag, and livestock welfare? Well now you do. And we have to stop her.

Incorrect. As a current small business owner, I can tell you our greatest foe is Colorado’s regulatory environment. Created by the Democrat party. The anti Trump song and dance is losing its luster as Coloradans watch businesses and jobs leave our state and affordability plummet. The damage your party has caused in this state has nothing to do with Trump.
Senator John Hickenlooper@SenatorHick

As a former small business owner, your greatest foe is uncertainty.  Trump’s on-again and off-again tariffs are making it harder and more uncertain for Americans to keep their businesses running and make ends meet.

Today is my brothers' (plural) birthday. Unfortunately, one of them is no longer here to be with us to celebrate — he was killed over a decade ago in a car accident. And the other one refuses to speak with me because of who I voted for. I will still buy him a birthday present and try to reach out, although I know I will most likely get no response. I have tried to recount my failures in our relationship, and I have done what I can to make amends, but it is in God's hands now. This is partially what has been motivating me to reach out to people with whom I disagree. We are at a terrible place in our culture when brothers can no longer speak with one another because of who happens to occupy the White House or to which church each one goes. In the meantime, I will continue praying, and I will continue to do what I can to make up for the loss of my niece and nephew's father.

Thank God for temples, so that Martin Luther could receive his exaltation. And he has. "Two weeks before I left St. George, the spirits of the dead gathered around me, wanting to know why we did not redeem them. Said they, “You have had the use of the Endowment House for a number of years, and yet nothing has ever been done for us...I straightway went into the baptismal font and called upon Brother McCallister to baptize me for the signers of the Declaration of Independence, and fifty other eminent men, making one hundred in all, including John Wesley, Columbus, and others..." - Wilford Woodruff Martin Luther was one of those others.

Majority of LDS believe this, but it’s not what Joseph taught. Am I wrong? “God is eternal and unbegun. He did not climb to divinity from a mortal past, and there is no chain of gods behind Him. He is embodied, personal, and real, but His body was always His and was never earned. Beside Him stands a Heavenly Mother who is coeternal and coequal, divine in her own right and not by promotion. The Godhead is one not because it is a single substance but because the Father is its source and fountainhead. Father, Mother, Son, and Spirit are one Family, perfectly united, sourced in the Father. This is monotheism by kinship rather than by mathematics. One God, because one household, one origin, one will. The destiny of humanity is to be gathered into that Family. We are the literal offspring of Heavenly Parents, and through the atonement of Christ and the ordinances of the temple we become partakers of the divine nature. This is real deification, the full weight of “as God now is, man may become.” But it is participation, not secession. The exalted do not depart to found their own pantheons. They are adopted into the one Family and share its life forever. Sealing stands untouched. Eternal families are real. Eternal increase is real, but it is branches multiplying on a single living vine, not seeds scattered to grow rival gods. The whole promise is kept. Only two things are dropped: the regress behind God, and the autonomy in front of man.” Ask a Mormon today whether God has a God above him. Whether there is a chain of fathers stretching back into the dark. You will rarely get Joseph’s answer. You will get a shrug. That is speculative, they say. We do not really focus on that. That shrug is the whole story. It is not a defense of the King Follett sermon. It is a quiet burial of it.

Dear Utahns, This week we have a real chance to make a big difference not only in Utah, but in the nation. People talk about draining the swamp, well, it’s starts at home, and we can get rid of two of Washington’s biggest and most embarrassing swamp creatures and instead send in their place two of the most decent, dedicated public servants I’ve ever met to be Utah’s representatives. Blake Moore is not only a joke, he’s one that isn’t funny. He sees his seat in congress as his, not as Utah’s. He’s loyal to the Republican establishment, not his own constituents, who he thinks talking to is a waste of time. He is only interested in climbing and enriching himself. And on top of that, he frequently sides with democrats at critical moments. He also fell asleep on the job. If you or I did that, we would be fired. He can’t even be bothered to stay awake and alert during key gatherings, and it happened on camera. I don’t understand how anybody cannot be embarrassed by this. Things aren’t much better in the third district. Celeste Maloy may not be as high profile as Blake Moore, but she has the same attitude towards her position. She’s also shown that she will vote against Utah’s interests if it benefits her own agenda. People sought out Karianne Lisonbee to run to unseat Blake. She lives in Syracuse, not Salt Lake. And she carries no establishment baggage or agenda. She has a clear vision on what representing Utah is and is not. She has extensive and principled legislative experience in the Utah legislature, and doesn’t back down when the establishment tries to swarm her. She’s exactly who we need in congress. Phil Lyman, likewise, has no other agenda on Washington but to represent Utah’s best interests. The amount of times they try to shut down and sideline this man tells you something about the kind of congressman he’ll be. One they can’t control. One who will do what’s right for Utah and Utahns. Time and time again, it’s Phil Lyman who steps up to the plate and says “I’ll do the hard job. I’ll do the unpopular thing, because the unpopular thing is right. I’ll be the one who stands up to the machine at the cost of my own standing, because the machine hurts too many people.” If he can’t be our governor, then by god, him going to congress is a pretty dang good thing to happen. Phil and Karianne are the leaders we need, and the leaders Utah desperately deserves. So let’s get it right this time. Let’s use our agency to make a positive change for us, our state, and our country. Vote for Phil Lyman. Vote for Karianne Lisonbee. God bless America. 🇺🇸 🫡

Every progressive pipe dream seems to (1) begin with coveting someone else’s wealth, and (2) end with bigger government That’s the dream The reality is that socialism locks the poor in poverty and entrenches economic and political elites in positions of perpetual dominance
