You think you have reached bad service levels in South-Africa, until you reach @Vodacom Online sales....cancelling a online contract and moving it to the store...takes 48hours. In 2026.

@hkrugertjie I fully agree, but what that has to do with running Johannesburg is still beyond my understanding.

@MarcoMasotti_ is a visionary and I would love to meet him in NY one day, but my word @SharksRugby has really squandered his investment. No real results in 3 years, loss to Sale, no URC playoffs. He deserved better from the team and players, nevermind loyal supporters.

It is wild there is an entire US terminal in Dublin airport where you pass through US customs *before* boarding the flight to the US.

@LionsRugbyCo doing so well again. They need a visionary CEO who moves them away from Ellispark to Wanderers etc.

I travelled across the country today and I must commend: 1) @ezshuttle, the same says it’s all. Great service and early! 2) @LiftAirlineSA, by far the best and most relaxed airline in the country. 3) @PaceCarRental1, fantastic service and care. These are great South African companies you should support.

I've bought @VolkswagenSA cars for many years, but they have lost the plot now. Uber exspensive and oddly after 3 years of driving, @WeBuyCars_SA gave me a better trade in offer! Sad day

If someone wants to buy a $5M apartment and leave it empty, that’s their property, their choice—not yours to prey on because you need more revenue for failing socialist experiments. You’re not funding “free” child care. You’re laundering millions through the same bloated bureaucracy that’s already driven businesses, residents, and investment out of NYC. New York’s multi-billion deficit was caused by decades of reckless spending. Every time you “tax the rich,” capital flees, property values drop, construction halts, jobs vanish, and the tax base shrinks. We’ve seen it in city after city. The ultra-wealthy don’t stay and pay—they leave. The middle class gets stuck with the bill. The empty luxury units you hate will stay empty longer because you made ownership toxic. This “progressive” tax is proof that socialists like you view citizens as ATMs, not free individuals. Keep this up and watch the last productive people and dollars flee faster than you can tweet “equity.” #TaxationIsTheft

She was not a brilliant candidate in 2016 (thought she did win the popular vote) but Hilary Clinton was and remains a very, very serious person who would have made an immeasurably better president than Donald Trump. Bill always said he was the better campaigner but she the better public servant. Spot on.

Hillary Clinton on Morning Joe: “I know from personal experience how Netanyahu has tried to get every American president to agree to have an open-ended war with Iran, because I had many, many long hours-long conversations with him and his war cabinet about this.”

@UlrichJvV Yes because remote farmers using internet is concerning and you clearly have zero ideas how "satellites hovering" works. Typical low IQ left wing shill.

The more this thing is being forced, the more suspicious it is becoming. We definitely don’t want or need Starlink in South Africa ever.

Even if Starlink manages to meet our requirements, it should never be allowed to operate in South Africa. …at this point Starlink would be a threat to national security.

Iran would be a far better ally for the United States than Israel. Iran produces oil, technology and food. Israel produces nothing.

There is a very really opportunity for someone to start a new version of Formula 1. Dump the woke, climate, and safety to the point of boredom nonsense. Bring back V10 or V12 engines, grid girls, and proper racing. Frankly a gold mine waiting to be tapped.

With fuel costs rising, Sixty60 drivers are getting hit hard. "A typical Sixty60 driver, earning around R7,600......must cover their own fuel costs and motorbike rentals. On average, fuel expenses amount to R3,200 monthly, while the weekly motorbike rental costs R400, or R1,600 per month. After deducting these operational expenses, the driver is left with a net income of just R2,800." Are you going to tip more to help cover the gap? Source: BusinessTech
