The best Mayor we never had. Some favourite pics of Flick Rea, who sadly passed away this weekend at 88. Kickstarting the project that saved the Prince of Wales Baths, boxing with her friend Jill Fraser, taking on a dalek and the night Flick and Roger Robinson became aldermen.

@robertrea @FlickRea So sad to hear this news. Flick was an amazing person. Very sorry for your loss. I remember a litter pick in West Hampstead having Flick’s famous lemon cake as a reward for finishing. The Jester festival won’t be the same without her. 😢

I’m very sad to have to say that my mother @FlickRea ,who served with distinction as the Liberal Democrat councillor for Fortune Green ward on Camden Council for 35 years until her retirement in 2021, died early this morning at the age of 88. She’d been ill for some time.

@Janedoe3jgm @MayorofLondon The Grade II listed concourse will be demolished. That is one leg of a 19 storey tower you can see - it is not an area that was designated for tall towers. It is a conservation area.
