An interesting announcement, not least because of the what it *might* mean for The Open returning to Muirfield. Unlikely the events would be staged in back to back weeks so either... 1. The Scottish Open vacates its "week before The Open slot" in 2028, '29 or '30, or 2. The earliest The Open will go back to Muirfield is 2031.

@The_Tman10 The so called ‘rivalry’ came about because a few Falkirk fans behaved like dickheads over the death of Norrie McCathie. A rivalry that’s almost as laughable as Brighton & Crystal Palace.

Played for both sides. Huge rivalry between them always felt like a massive game. Does anyone know how that came to fruition? Or always been there?

The stadium will be half full but no tickets will be available on the day if someone finds they can attend at the last minute! 🤷🏻‍♂️

What songs can you simply NOT listen to? They instantly make you skip the track or change station? For me there are only two. Celine Dion - My Heart Will Go On Dexy’s Midnight Runners - Come on Eileen The 2nd particularly is so terrible and ingrained into my brain from attending a glut of 80s and 90s family weddings that I simply cannot allow it in my ears.

@alexelliottgolf I think the way they did the no anchoring rule. If they wanted to make it visually unquestionable, the putter length should have been short enough that both arms have to "hang" to make a stroke. Eliminates the controversy.

There have been many fantastic TV commentators over the years that helped forge my love for football but my first experience was the radio. Crackling, poor quality sound for “exotic” European nights on Sport on 2. My two favourites will always be Bryon Butler & Peter Jones 🐐

@Sjopinion10 Ironically their refund service works like a dream. If only their actual flight service could do the same. Three recent flights affected by a ‘battery issue’ with one flight cancelled for 24 hrs but only after 3 hrs on tarmac. Passengers left to find hotel/taxi themselves at 9pm.

As I sit waiting for yet another delayed #britishairways flight … I ruminate ….as a large proportion of the flights I take with this , entitled legacy airline are delayed for technical faults on the plane .. Is their fleet in a terrible condition, compared to other airlines who don’t have the same amount of faults .. I know I know, fly another carrier
