Some new cycling infrastructure is opening to the public tomorrow in the Portlands 🌉
The Commissioners Street Bridge and Cherry Street South Bridge will provide cycling and pedestrian access to the new Villiers Island from the rest of the Portlands.

@ronmortgageguy @TimNashCFP There is a large segment of the population that would love to get on a bike but feel unsafe. If you are forced to use a car to get around you should want as many people out of their cars and onto bikes. Toronto streets can only handle so many cars.

Or just plain people who were raised in a world where "Car" wasn't a dirty word and choose not to be FORCED to get on a Bike

Spent 15 minutes this morning documenting some of the bike traffic under the bridge on Dundas E just past Logan. Last summer City Council approved the closure of these lanes in both directions at this spot for at least 18 months (for Metrolinx work)

Risk of hospitalization and ICU are reduced by 92-96%. Unvaccinated pop is much younger so true age adjusted benefit is almost certainly better.
