@HBLPak @Visa Platinum is hands down the best credit card for travel in Pakistan. HBL runs a points promotion twice a year where your credit card points double in value but only when redeemed for flight tickets. They also recently had a promotion with Qatar Airways for discounted tickets. This year, I planned three trips around those windows. Multiple flights. Zero cash spent on tickets. Today, I watched Egypt win their first ever World Cup match. In person. In Vancouver. As a guest of HBL and Visa (part of their “Spend and Win” campaign). I’m aware of how privileged that sentence is. I’m not taking it for granted. But the point stands: if you qualify but you’re not on this card, you’re leaving real value on the table. The promotion is predictable. The math works. You just have to plan around it. Thank you HBL and Visa. This one I’ll remember for a long time.
