@45bestwords I vote by mail and get more updates than Amazon or UPS

@JamesTate121 Fair game. If it’s fraud when their guy loses then it’s fraud when my guy loses. The ones with highest social engagement scores wins. Let the games begin.

@FlashReport Then you support making it a national holiday, including retail?

California Democrats have cheapened the democratic process by making voting as routine as paying your utility bill. Voting should require some effort. Both to educate yourself and to actually go vote in person. Frankly if you don’t think meaningful effort should be required to cast your vote, consider the idea that perhaps you should not be voting.

@glenn_tunes “Heads I win tails you lose” is some 5D chess right there.

Woman who moved from California to Texas with her husband in 2022 compared their costs of living in both states, and the differences are eye-opening:
California Home: $1.8 million
Texas Home: $1.15 million
California Electric Bill: $511/month
Texas Electric Bill: $346/month
California Water Bill: $448/month
Texas Water Bill: $140/month
California Gas Bill: $175/month
Texas Gas Bill: $239/month
California Car Registration: $830/year
Texas Car Registration: $75/year
California Gas Price: $5.89/gallon
Texas Gas Price: $3.49/gallon
California Property Tax: $22,000/year
Texas Property Tax: $19,000/year
And because Texas has no state income tax, they estimate they’re saving about $50,000 per year compared to what they were paying in California.
For them, the move has resulted in significantly lower overall living expenses and a much larger financial cushion each year.

@OneBadDude_ Next up, complaints that the vote wasn't counted sufficiently
English

@realRawPaul Same with Australia. I can't believe 90% of the country lives in the blue areas, they govern illegally over the rest of it. I believe in one acre, one vote!

@Rascal2326 @fire_starter457 @RepAbeHamadeh “It’s only stolen when my guy loses” is some third grader dipshit right there. Grow a brain.
English

@fire_starter457 @RepAbeHamadeh Dear Dipshit,
Everyone know California is not “verifying voters”! They are trying to do the math to calculate how many ballots they need to generate for the Democrat candidate to win. Math is hard for Democrats and they need a 6th grader to check their numbers
English

Dear @RepAbeHamadeh:
So I’m clear...
First you MAGAIdiots say California elections are fraudulent because they don’t verify voters.
Next you MAGAIdiots say California elections are fraudulent because they take too long because they are verifying voters.
It’s almost as if you people are full of shit.
English

@arpitrage IPOs are now exit events to retail bag holders for venture capital
English

@clarksonlawson_ Heads I win, tails you lose. Yes they really think you are that stupid.
English

Here come Republicans claiming the election was stolen when their candidate loses.
Republican wins = Election secure ✅
Democrat wins = Election rigged ❌
It’s becoming increasingly obvious that claiming elections are rigged whenever your “team” loses is nothing more than a political PR strategy.

JUST IN: Nithya Raman soars to a 71% chance of advancing to the LA mayoral runoff, as officials continue processing mail-in ballots.
English

@marklevinshow The system is set up to count every vote that's been postmarked on election day and gives up to 7 days for time in transit. You're saying a system that is oriented towards counting all the voters is corrupt? Ok
English

@BrandonRichards Hilarious how none of them get that all the Democrat votes will consolidate in general, 60-40. Bye-bye
English

Seems MAGA needs a reminder: yesterday was the primary, not the general.
Eric Spracklen 🇺🇸@EricSpracklen
Steve Hilton leading in California is actually pretty insane… Can it hold???
English

@stephen_richer This is at least a rational response. I don't agree with all of it but at least it's not “It's only stolen when my team loses." third-grader speak
English

If you don't like California's election process...
Please, remember this is how it has been in California since 2020, and instead of jumping to conclusions of fraud or screaming at an election official...
Please voice your frustration in a civil letter or email to the California state legislature or Governor.
Tell them to:
- Expand in-person early voting
- Prohibit ballots from arriving through USPS after Election Day
- Shorten the cure period from 20-days after Election Day to something like 3 days.
- Allocate funds for more election facility space and temporary election workers to process mail ballots faster
English

@GuntherEagleman Read the law, CA goes by post mark of the Election Day, and then adds time in transit to ensure each vote counts, as the emphasis is on counting votes vs closing results. Other states have different rules.
English

No, the short answer is that the Democrat machine needs to know how many votes to manufacture after the initial count, and then needs a period in which to manufacture them.
David Axelrod@davidaxelrod
People ask why the CA vote-counting process takes so long. @Elex_Michaelson of @CNN explains it clearly here. But the short answer is the state values participation plus thorough scrutiny of ballots over speed.
