My MG Hector Plus caught fire moments after displaying a “Check Gearbox” warning. Steering became hard, smoke appeared, and the vehicle was engulfed in flames. A miraculous escape. More than a month later, there is still no satisfactory explanation regarding the cause of the fire

@MGSupportIndia - Send your team to his residence to meet him and ensure his claim is approved. I have learnt that MG has a tie up at all its outlets with ICICI Lombard, and they strongly recommend to buy ICICI insurance and claim that in case of any insurance claim it will be seamless for the customer. Now it’s time for MG to live upto it. If not, Shivesh should take them to consumer court .
