@nanowatts Thanks! We also think it’s really good for people to read as many COCs as they can, take notes, and then write their own like we did. Bigger orgs should def get a lawyer involved too, but there’s something super important about the words coming *directly* from the organizer.

Today would’ve been the first day of the 6th annual @layersconf. It would’ve been a joyful festival of snacks, new ideas, sunshine, old friends, and unexpected connections. Much more important things are happening now, but we’ll be back some day. ❤️✊🏻🧡✊🏼💛✊🏽💚✊🏾💙✊🏿💜

Layers Trivia™️ We cross reference each bathroom product for reviews on Sephora, R29, Strategist, GQ, etc. Then we compile in Keynote and design a set based on product variety, aesthetic, color, and size.

We’re past the era of conferences being about content you could watch on video instead. Which means the experience of the IRL humans must be well-designed. Let’s give @layersconf design conference credit where credit is due for walking the walk and forging new ground (Thread)
