openclaw/tg agent UX tip: switch from talking in chats to talking in project channels. that way you have a natural dynamics of current world. one of you posts a bad take and you discuss it in a thread. many threads can run in parallel and following them is much easier than scrolling through a long chat where multiple async tasks are being made. then if your clanker has analytics etc for your project you can make him post daily reports in that group that you can later on unwind. and all that is happening contextually and naturally.

✨ A dream I had finally came true: I can now chat directly with my sites to build any feature or fix any bug just via Telegram I've been playing with OpenClaw for 3 weeks now and it's great but I was always too scared to run it on any production server And I was right a bit as @marckohlbrugge was able to hack it by social engineering and acting as if it was me, and with enough tries it believed him, and was able to modify the server, change SSH keys etc. of course I had it isolated properly on its own VPS and it didn't touch anything sensitive (as it should!) Marc then reported that bug to @steipete who patched it fast But I wanted to try something more basic and simple, and I think maybe more secure: to just connect Claude Code on my server to Telegram which would be hard locked to only messages from me So I installed claude-code-telegram by @RichardAtCT on the server and run it as a system daemon and it works really well The cool thing is that I was already using Telegram for server errors like this: > Photo AI - ❌ Random credits giveaway failed (Attempt 30/30) with an exception: SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 5 database is locked So now I can just reply, "Ok fix this", and Claude Code on the server in production will try (and probably succeed) in fixing it In the video below I asked it to make show [🌳 Parks ] on the map by default on load, it did that, then I reloaded the page and it instantly worked One thing it still needs is sending actual messages while it's doing stuff which OpenClaw does really well, it's annoying to just wait while it says "Working..." but that's probably next

Venice is now burning VVV with direct revenue on every Pro subscription. Real time, viewable from dashboard, verifiable on-chain (never forget that crypto is fucking cool). For now this is in addition to the (opaque) burns that we had been doing, and after we let it bake, we intend to phase out that prior mechanism in favor of this programmatic/transparent method.
Venice@AskVenice

Today we're introducing programmatic VVV buy and burns 🔥 Every new Venice Pro subscription now automatically triggers a $1 $VVV buy and burn. At the current rate, that's roughly $1,000 in VVV burned per day. Track each one in real-time ↓

I love @Cloudflare but it's getting to AWS levels of mysterious billing I have no clue which site has "Smart Shield Argo" enabled and since I have like 200 sites in Cloudflare, I have no way to figure this out There's also no Argo in Usage, and apparently I been paying this for months now without even wanting or using it 🤷

noble crypto v2.2 is out after a full LLM-assisted self-audit. Found more issues than all previous "independent" audits combined - while finding nothing major. AI gives attackers & researchers superpowers. Fast security feedback loops are now critical. Also: FROST & Big Endian.

💾 Made a DOS-style text-based user interface (TUI) today First app I made is Notepad (or should it be called EDIT.EXE?) and you can type in it and it has a localStorage-based file system with folders and everything! I wanted to create a BIOS for pieter.com but it became this :D I really like these TUI interfaces, sometimes you still see them in shops or supermarkets when you pay Maybe I should make a whole SaaS biz with this interface?

@arthur_sav I think there’s some bug when permissions aren’t getting into the code session inside the app and you end up stuck in the app until you approve it on your host @bcherny

@levelsio While driving, I used to be able to write full on messages (SMS) from my Nokia without looking at my phone. I would unlock, navigate to the message, start typing and send with high confidence of 0 mistakes. Some interfaces are just better with buttons.

There has to be some word for this concept It's why designers from tech who design touchscreens like Jony Ive won't put a touch screen in a car but use real knobs Or why programmers don't actually like smart homes and smart appliances at all but want things analog Or why tech people raise their kids without mobile devices Like knowing things so well from inside of it (tech) that you choose to NOT use it because you know the negatives that come with it in specific contexts
