Home after 11 days, our dog is nearly hysterical, sobbing with love and relief that we are back. The cat cannot quite seem to remember where she met us, but does not think it was a very good experience.

@traceyh415 I’ve had the vaccine. A couple of days with a sore arm, worth it not to get shingles!

@John_Dabell Happy Anniversary to you both! I can see you are at The Palladian Bridge in Prior Park Landscape Garden, if I am not mistaken. My children went to school just above this lovely place. Hope you are enjoying the lovely weather and beautiful Bath.

@Gypsypup13 Is there a link to what she said? 🙄 I can’t think that anything she said would make it better. Has there been an apology?

@Cadmarch Sadly, I did have a stroke due to a migraine. It is a very rare kind of visual stroke called a migrainous infarction. Fortunately, I haven’t got any long term ill effects. I thought it was stranger than my normal migraine but stroke confirmed on MRI.

Try this for tonight BBC 4 8.15 pm I’ve never seen it but with the music of Irving Berlin, Noel Coward and Cole Porter plus George Gershwin it’s got to be worth a record. Besides my dear friend Lewis Collins is in it - sadly taken at the age of 67 💜

@BarbaraSutton15 I was 13 when I got a Saturday job in a café. It was very small but always busy. I took the orders and worked the till and collected the dishes. The owner cooked. At 14, I got a job in a ‘ladies boutique’, I loved it there and stayed until I was 18. Great discount on clothes.

@jk_rowling How lovely and sweet. Thank you JKR for this post. All of us can now imagine a Mum reading with all the voices on a busy train. Her youngster must have been enthralled. Your legacy is timeless!

If you're the mother who was reading Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone aloud to your child on the LNER train from London to Edinburgh yesterday, one of my grown up children was listening and says you did the voices brilliantly❤️🥹

@ncorreyna @jk_rowling Please do. I read them to my children, long before the films came out. The words are magical. I enjoyed reading them very much.

@drkeithsiau @drokane Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm. First Staff Nurse post after qualifying, Professorial Surgical Unit. We used to look after patients following elective surgery for AAA on the ward with only a Dinamap and of course our expertise. Great experience!

@OscarGreta1846 There doesn’t seem to be anyone or a group of people prepared to speak up and do something about it? They would just rather their country burned. 🙄 Maybe they feel that by speaking up will affect them and their families? It is a strange situation and very worrying.

I would love someone to explain to me why Trump has not been impeached after all the harm he is doing and his association so clear for all to see with the Epstein files? He is slowly destroying his own country and still nothing happens. The law is a an ass.

A bad night. Can’t seem to get on top of this constant pain. Once the Codeine kicks in I have an hour, two at best, before I’m back to the beginning. I don’t know if it’s the hip replacement, or the reconstructive surgery on my femur, I suspect it is both. Used up my morning PK’s
