Home after 11 days, our dog is nearly hysterical, sobbing with love and relief that we are back. The cat cannot quite seem to remember where she met us, but does not think it was a very good experience.

@Cadmarch Sadly, I did have a stroke due to a migraine. It is a very rare kind of visual stroke called a migrainous infarction. Fortunately, I haven’t got any long term ill effects. I thought it was stranger than my normal migraine but stroke confirmed on MRI.

Why didn’t you people tell me about ocular migraines, I thought I was having a stroke

@BarbaraSutton15 I was 13 when I got a Saturday job in a café. It was very small but always busy. I took the orders and worked the till and collected the dishes. The owner cooked. At 14, I got a job in a ‘ladies boutique’, I loved it there and stayed until I was 18. Great discount on clothes.

Part time work for teenagers is rare nowadays-I remember back in the day the paper round I had as a 14 year old-up at 4am & out on the road by 5am

@OscarGreta1846 There doesn’t seem to be anyone or a group of people prepared to speak up and do something about it? They would just rather their country burned. 🙄 Maybe they feel that by speaking up will affect them and their families? It is a strange situation and very worrying.

I would love someone to explain to me why Trump has not been impeached after all the harm he is doing and his association so clear for all to see with the Epstein files? He is slowly destroying his own country and still nothing happens. The law is a an ass.

@mikegallacher1 @Jennycald1965 I had Oramorph given to me for home use after I had major surgery a few years ago. Perhaps ask if your GP can prescribe?

@Jennycald1965 I had that in hospital, but I think they told me you can't get it for home use.

A bad night. Can’t seem to get on top of this constant pain. Once the Codeine kicks in I have an hour, two at best, before I’m back to the beginning. I don’t know if it’s the hip replacement, or the reconstructive surgery on my femur, I suspect it is both. Used up my morning PK’s
