Just heard the saddest story of the #Crowdstrike debacle. Transplant surgeries not happening at a major hospital and a few organs, hearts, kidneys etc being thrown away .. people wait for years on the transplant list, only for some poorly tested upgrade to ruin their hopes 😞

A few years back, @a16z wrote a blog post about cloud workload repatriation. We're bringing back our software build/test pipelines and seeing massive performance gains (blog post coming soon). What workloads have you seen successfully move back?

Played with @cribl_io 's AppScope [1]. Pretty cool way see what a Linux binary is doing (aka strace/ltrace). Even worked on some Golang binaries (although not all)! Curious though, why a shared library and not eBPF probes? Permissions maybe? [1] appscope.dev
